T20 World Cup 2024

I'm interested to see what is chosen by the winner of the toss. Always fancy a field in T20 but, as I think somebody mentioned earlier, it would be tempting to have a bat in such a significant match with the weather looking average.

i think you want to chase in a rain shortened game mind

The DL usually helps the chasing side, and also if batting first, no real idea what is a good score to set.

No toss yet though. Still spitty spotty rain around

Fair enough, part of me just thinks that we could expose a bit of nervousness in India if we grab it by the scruff of the neck and bat.

Both games have 250 mins built in for delays - yesterdays had 90 mins yesterday and 160 for today (reserve day) i believe, but because we have a morning start all 250 minutes are today.

Very silly way of doing it - why not make it the same for both games
