Do we? The ICC needs them to make more money. Lots of journeymen players need the IPL to make more money. Disney and the BCCI need them to make/skim off as much money as possible. But do we need them? How does their money get back to our grass roots and county cricket? How much does the ECB get that finds its way back?

Their fans who live here always turn up at our test grounds to scream how much they love India, but they always will. And other than minor nations, test matches are reliably full regardless.

F them. I hope we batter them.

I honestly wouldn’t care if we never played them. The Ashes grips me ten times more than a series against India does. Their fans and players are mostly loathsome.

Absolute joke these semis, the pitch for that one this morning was lucky not to be an abandoned match, then this with no reserve days, no flights out and rainy season and group winners going through.
Also see that Afghanistans flight got delayed 4 hours, so they played last, then played the early game after having no warm up time at the ground.

End of day, India would probably still win in a fair contest but serious changes for these tournaments going forward are needed.
