Tahir may as well "go Kolpak" since he's retiring anyway. Would have no problem with that as he's done his time and represented his country for, not sure exactly, but at least a decade?

Good to see most counties taking this competition seriously in its last year in its current form. Yorkolpakshite seem to be disinterested as usual having forked out mega bucks for one mercenary. Thank goodness I play club cricket or my patience with the game would be starting to wear very thin with the "professional" setups I "support" doing their best to alienate supporters in a variety of ways. This summer I'll attend a couple of Ashes days, and a few neutral world cup games, both already paid for. Won't be attending any Yorkshire games as it stands unless the Kolpak mercenary changes his mind and the club uses the money for more deserving recipients

The one thing we lacked last year was a batsman to hit it out of the park. Encouraging to see that has been identified and something has been done about it. Short could be the difference between a losing q-f and getting to Finals Day. The question will be do we still keep the boundaries at home on the edge?

I’ve seen him a few times and he’s excellent to watch. Great acquisition for the lads
