T20 season 2022

Looking forward to the men's game at 6.30. Would have loved to have gone to the women's but it will be finished before I can get to CLS, sadly.

Surrey doing our usual - looking good for three from three, before our usual trick of losing our arses and it all going to pot

Buzzing to see Curran's performance.

Trying to find out if anyone else has taken a fifer and a half century in the same T20.

They is a live blast game on Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat and loads and loads more in the coming days/weeks.

If that is classed as not interested or not going to show it then not sure what people want
It's less than 20% of the total games and under 40% of days when the Blast is on, that Sky are showing a game.

About the same as last year, but well down on previous. There's been nights when the only live sport scross Sky's channels has been netball, but they still haven't put the country's national summer sport on.

So a big drop in coverage since the 16.4 started. On the face of it it's completely bizarre, until you remember what the desire is with the domestic game.

You keep banging on about the IPL and how good it is, can you imagine if that was the same? No, of course not.

The penny will drop someday, but probably well too late.

I think the best thing about the hundred is all of a sudden, or at least since the hundred started.

A lot of people in the cricket media and especially on this board are now saying how great the blast and T20 in this country is!!

Instead as referring to it as ‘not proper cricket’ ‘ hit and giggle’ etc etc

It is something I have been banging on about for years and years while others have criticized it.

Now apparently it’s great and should be on the telly more!!

Is that just a coincidence that people have started to appreciate the blast and T20 in this country?

Well that’s where I agree T20 is great for the sport and would be more than happy to scrap the hundred and just have one T20 competition and people to realize and appreciate it’s brilliant entertainment and to find the right balance between that and getting the right red ball balance for the test side.

Not sure what you getting at with the IPL, but I keep going on about it, because people love it, crowds love it, it had 105 thousand in the final watch a cricket match.

That’s simply brilliant that you see fans passionate and enjoying themselves as that is what sport is about!
That ordinary people enjoy and get involved in cricket.

Because one thing is for sure charging £130 pound for a day at a test match is not going to achieve it!!
