T20 :: Durham v Northamptonshire

Yup, it's not come cheap though, more than they expected. International likely be the next time it's open as club don't want to pay for staff to steward and clean it.

Ah I see

Surely a few idiots like me in the CC doesn’t require stewarding though

The upper stands don’t get cleared much, I left an orange on day 1 of a Cc game and it was still there day 4 when I was back!

Neither did the seats until the other day :lol::lol: @The Red Telephone
The bogs are minging too
far too many, far too close together. Stupid really... this is supposed to be the big earner for the counties and the ECB have stuffed it up for them once again. They should be encouraging casual watchers to go to every game to spend their money, not effectively ask them to choose one or two to go to. They really don't have a clue
My thoughts too. It’s bloody exhausting turning up for them all never mind playing them… all for the hundred overs… needs to be spaced out

Even if i was wanting to go tomorrow, I finish work at 5pm down in Middlesbrough, so it would be a mad dash up to Chester Le Street then home after 10pm, then head back down to work 7am the following morning. It's a bit too much after 3 games in a week, 2 of those evening midweek. The club already have my money anyway but hopefully it all goes off well tomorrow.

Surely by now that trapdoor stand should have been made permanent, cant be cost effective to keep taking out all the seats every year, how long has it been there now?? over a decade??

The ground redevelopment plan includes the rebuilding of this stand. It also includes the proposed hotel and some redevelopment of the pavilion. There’s a video in existence showing all of this, which was shown at an event last year. I haven’t seen it. The funding is from a combination of sources including our friends at the ECB and also the local authority.
