Swindon Town 25/26 thread


My Gillingham mate among the other Gills fans on their way to Newport , got off at Swindon and chanted non stop on the station platform for their hatred of Swindon. What a strange rivalry these 2 clubs have

It’s gone now.
Was hot late 70’s and early 80’s.
They never come to Swindon, poorly supported away from home.

Hopefully they won’t fancy it.
Swindon will be up for it. Holloway will put out a decent team, if we can call a Swindon 11 decent.

You have to try to separate the day out from the game but as we all know - it’s hard.

I don't think anyone would have liked to have got Swindon in the draw, you can score a goal in quite a few different ways. IH can put out a decent side that will be in it to the final whistle. If a higher division side go to your place and think they'll stroll it it would suit Mr H's planning I think.

Definitely mate. If it was just the 90 mins I would have got off the bus some time ago.
Not always the best having to travel on your own either then meet up later.
Desperate for a 3rd round away tie against a big club.

Hope the fishing is going well. Lost a decent Pike last week.

Been hammering the local river fish but nothing of much size.

Still a fish is a fish is a fish.
