Very sad. Always seemed a nice bloke when he was our manager.

Didn't do particularly well but signed Schmeichel and Nugent so a massive contribution.

Him as England manager was the last time I felt any sort of connection to the national team.

Good manager as well but he achieved other great stuff that must not be overlooked.

Hopefully his remaining months are as comfortable as possible and surrounded by the ones he loves. Really must be a horrible awaiting that fate in the know

Good memories watching England under him. For a good 15 minutes when we we're 1-0 up v Brazil, I honestly thought we were going to win that world cup.
