*~*~* Sunderland v Watford match thread *~*~*

Shame to have anyone out but looks like it was Pritch then, hopefully with about 12 teams on 16 points with us, it'll be a gap creating solid win tonight.
Nice draw between Leicester and Preston to keep us within touching distance, too, though I think it'll be a very comfortable home banker.

We had the Charlie Hurley surfer out this time last year in the south stand. With the events of the last week, we decided it was right to get the Brad surfer out.

Owing to the new system in place with the club, the Boro plans have been in for a while now and can’t be changed.
No worries mate. Just get an appropriate chant going. Either Happy Birthday or Who's the greatest centre half

i dunno, the more i think about it whilst i was looking forward to seeing aouchiche it's not like ba has done anything wrong.

personally i'd have sooner seen roberts RW and ba central, the way it's written seems the other way around although i suspect they'll be interchangeable. i just think long term roberts is a RW, ba is still young enough and played so many positions he could be a 10 and i'd have him playing in the amad role. same thing i'd do with aouchiche rather than play him wide
Was looking forward seeing him aswel but Ba probably deserves it on his form so far this season . Hope Ba bangs one in and we get to see AA , Bennette , Rusyn and Hemir for half an hour of show boating with the game wrapped up early again .

I know it'll end up being bumped when the inevitable happens, but Jesus that Watford side looks drab.

Tom Ince FFS and he'll probably be on about £60,000 per week.

Watford in the last few seasons are a perfect example of how to waste your parachute payments and confine yourself to life in the Championship for the foreseeable.
They match us in almost every area of stats coming into tonight, except they concede more on-target shots and (no surprise given that) concede more goals than us. They shouldn't be down the bottom of the league.

Tight game I reckon, but Watford fans I know are pessimistic tonight. So I hope I am completely wrong and they are right.
