Hate to say it but Scowen ended up centre half mid week 343 Willis Wright Scowen; O'Nein Leadbitter Power Hume; Gooch behind Wyke and Grigg. Don't know why Matthews is starting if Burge on the bench think we could struggle today

What are you on about? Scowen didn’t play midweek. Dobson did.

It is pathetic. Power talked about seeing a different side to his game when he was put in an advanced role - since then no goals and no assists. To me you either play Leadbitter or Power not both. And Leadbitter is at least twice the player Power is.
Power wanders around the pitch as if he’s Gerrard in his prime trying 40 yard passes and long range shots. The problem is, the vast majority of his passes are overhit or easily cut out and his shooting is shite. He can’t tackle either. He only ever seems to be involved when things are going well.

There isn't much defensive about one extra proper forward (in theory - but he's a clip) and Scowen behind.

+ A midfielder of sorts in the back line mate.
I have no problems with Scowen but he's never played the number 10 role. If you are playing with Power and Leadbitter surely it gives the protection to play a number 10 be it Maguire, Embleton, Neil or whoever. The reality is that none of Leadbitter, Scowen or Power are attacking midfielders but PP shoe horns them in as he is the most cautious, defensive manager imaginable.

If that’s ONien at CB then he can fuck right off.

Totally clueless.
