You watch today - Power gets the ball in an attacking position - he then swivels back and lays the ball off to a defender - happens every time. Can any apologists for Parkinson defend him playing 3 defensive CM's at home to MK Dons? Check their passports Phil - it clearly says 'Defensive midfielder' under their job title section.

Gives it to Hume the disappears expecting Hume to carry it 30 yards. Does it all the time.

fuck knows what formation this will be, but there is going to be a massive gap in the middle of the park between the 3cm's and the two lumps up top

i think he is just hoping to get it out wide constantly with scowen and power, have the wing backs overlapping, and get the cross count over 50 , thats why he's lumped another 'body' in the middle up top with wyke, just hoping something falls for one of them for a tap in

there won't be a single forward pass, into feet or for the forwards to run onto, through the middle third of the pitch.

Depends on the roles of Power and Scowen. Leadbitter sitting in front of the back four should free them up to get forward and stretch the play.

Imagine playing Power, Leadbitter and Scowen all in the same team at home to Mk Dons with three centre backs, the Bolton years have ruined Phillip

I’d be very surprised if he changes formation. He’d sooner shoehorn players in out of position than change formation to suit the players despite not having enough fit CB’s.
