Had our moron of a manager had any injury doubts about Burge, then he should have brought the young lad Patterson in. Mathews, like Burge is a bloody liability.

I often find when I'm running a team through my head that it's fine until I reach the attack. Gooch gives us a bit of something there, particularly when Maguire is off-song.
Exactly, we lack creativity and a cutting edge in forward areas. So how does parky address this? He leaves a decent CB on the bench in Sanderson, moves a CM who is playing wing back into CB and plays one of the few creative attacking players into wing back. Baffles me to be honest.

Decision to rest Embleton is a good one, based on logic.

Then he starts Willis who carried his leg through midweek and includes Burge on the bench despite an ankle injury?

At least be consistent with your bollocks Parky.

Neil was the best passer of the ball in midweek and can’t make the squad? Ridiculous.
Too young too quick and has a brain. Doesn’t fit p🐷rkys idea of a footballer. He needs to learn how to hoof it long to no one in particular.
