You are correct but O'Nien was brilliant today - shame for the lad is he looks a great FB but hasn't really shone in CM.
For me he's had the run in MF that I wanted to see and I expected more and better from him in that position.

I can take him filling in at FB but knowing streaky he'll possibly try to use him at CH again.

Been talking to some Ipswich fans in bar after the game. 0-0 would have been a fair result thought we were stand offish and not as good as they thought we would be.
Fuck 'em.

I didn't watch the game as I had a family do. But the result was the thing as far as I'm concerned. We needed a win to get us back on track and the clean sheet was a bonus. And it was a against a good, resurgent side.

Hopefully this bring about renewed confidence in the team.

Defend turns his back and swings his arm at it in the process. Ball travelling towards goal so it allowed the ref to make a decision, who was looking directly at it.

For me penalty and wasn’t just lashed against his hand. If he hadn’t turned his back it wouldn’t have hit his hand.

VAR says it’s a pen IMO but fuck me, no chance the lad is getting out of the way of that

We’re in the the third division haven’t had a win in fact been heavily tonked in our last few games and we play on the exact same day and time as “ the richest klerb in tha werld” expecting to be unveiling their new manager and we still get over 31,000 there 😎 nee the wonder they hate us like 👍 we’re pure class
its a sine young lady.. you couldnt make it up.. book your seats..

He was OK. And he scored. But nowhere near brilliant. I'm not sure he has a "best position" but he is certainly one I'd want on the bench given the positions he can play to a decent standard.
Brilliant is over the top. But I don't recall him putting a foot wrong except feigning injury and talking himself in to the book.

Best thing about today just seing that crowd 31,000 plus....for our position and the dross being served up everyone of you take a bow, FANTASTIC.
They brought a decent amount and were vocal in their support. Hope they enjoy their long long coach journey home with 0 points tho.

Respect to them coming all this way . I think a draw would have been fair result too but we won 2 nil . Ipswich need some new forwards. About us looking "stand offish" was no doubt the LJ master plan for the match . i.e lets look sh**te for 70 minutes and hit them hard for a 2 nil win.

We robbed the 3 points. I was there and it was a terrible game. What the hell as streaky been working in with the players all week??

To be fair...Ipswich had no goal scorer and Hoffman made some good saves.
One bit if quality all game allowed us to Rob the 3 points.

I'm happy we got 3 points, but he still needs to go...we had not had a shot on target, at home, until 85 minutes.

Our team and manager is not good enough to

Dosnt matter if it was bad we got 3 points and as for robbing them I don't give one jot as we have been robbed of many a result from bad referees..Johnson should not be sacked but given this transfer window to strengthen. We are only a couple of players from getting promoted. Need couple of old heads in there to help the young lads..keep the faith

I thought he was pulled out of position a couple of times TBH. He did OK. Not brilliant. Like I said... I'm not sure he actually has a "best position".

He's a very useful player to have on the bench but I'd prefer Cirkin at RB and any of our current CBs or CMs to O9 as starters in those positions.

They’ve deserved their criticism tbf, they’ve been absolutely shocking along with a few others.
Young goalkeeper still learning and from another country and a young player who has been playing with and injury who never complains where he gets put on field...Deserved criticism really.
