They said the sacking was a culmination of reasons and the 6-0 been the one that broke the camels back, then why the fuck hadn't they already lined up a potential replacement straightaway knowing it was coming to an end and the pressing urgency of at least catching Rotherham
 

Honestly I cannot believe this bloke who is the caretaker manager. Likely your first chance ever to make your mark from youth coach to manager material and you leave Defoe sat on the bench, play gooch ahead of roberts and stick embleton on the other wing.
