You'd think they'd want to prove last week was just a terrible day at the office, that they're a good side - maybe the sacking might fire them up a bit. Add in the buzz around Defoe and good attendance but we just look shit. Management aren't reacting to it either.
 
Players have glass mental strength, literally fall to pieces as soon as the other team gets on top. Very soft, lack of grit and don't seem to have that fire that if we go down a goal that they are pissed off and wanna out it right.

Massively lacking a leader who will kick them up the arse but it's also one of the problems in recruiting loads of youth players, don't have the experience or nerve needed when it gets tough.

Hopefully Metete has some steel cause he's gonna need to have it with these players around him and Defoe can inspire some fire in them.

They'd be fearing going in for half time if Keane was manager and that'll hopefully get something more out of them if he does come in.
