If I was a manager l, I wouldn’t accept Speakman making the calls when he has little experience and doesn’t take the heat.
No different to other appointments that we have made. Most of the players brought in are young players on loan. This is Sunderland FFS.

I don't mind the Speakman waffle tbh He doesn't get to the point eventually, when answering a question. Very Chinese of him actually.
 
I wouldn't say the play-offs are negatively a foregone conclusion like - the new manager just has 16 games to shape us mentally into a 3 game, mini-knockout tournament winning team by the end of April.
(I'm trying to be positive...)
