*~*~* Sunderland v Coventry match thread *~*~*

Well this has aged well!😁

Is it too late to get you in the dugout for Wembley and knock some sense into that pointless French surrender monkey?
Far too many managers play so called percentages. Inswingers hoping the ball gets a flick off anyone or no-one.

For me if you have someone dominant in the air, swing the ball out so it comes on to his head so he can attack it properly. Common sense.

Mundle is much better than Le Fèe defensively and Le Fèe is better in the middle... simple really. Let's hope RLB sees it .
Course he will . Even said in his post match interview that the team ended in their proper shape .

Isidore may not like being dropped mind

Pretty sure he knows it, but Mundle was just returning from a serious injury… he’s a good manager of the players and he got it right tonight. Hopefully with ten days now to play with, Mundle will be ready to go from the off at Wembley with Enzo in the No10 position. Think we will look very dangerous going forward that way.

I don't think that's true. Tonight Mundle had the advantage of being fresh legs playing against tired legs. Le Fée was absolutely fine defensively as a starter.
