Cheers, I do manage to get the goal and bizarrely from West Brom siteYou must be logged on to see media items
Well, if he's data driven he'll be sad to discover that we had more clear cut chances in both games. He probably chose to ignore that and '77 like the Sky boys, Phillipsy included ffsMy take on it aswell pal. Apparent early doors that it wasn’t working. The way we play is so reliant on moments of brilliance or luck. Once that wears off it’s an extremely difficult watch. That said it’s worked though. Mind the 2nd half of extra time shows what a different team we are when we actually take games to teams. Ballard has been unbelievable over 2 games.
Totally disagree. Le Bris would not be under any pressure. He's the owners choice. And, by the way, it was Le Bris who brought Ballard back in and dropped Mepham. That Ballard equaliser has arguably saved his job. Had we lost on penalties tonight, he’d have been under immense pressure after the way he set us up.
Ballard over two legs has been a colossus and is the reason we’re still in it. An amazing couple of performances
Thats bollox mate, the pitch is for the players, you must not have seen the incidents that have happened in the recent past with "fans" going onto the pitch?I like it, what's wrong with being on a pitch when the game is over? Football is so stale these days because we've been taught to hate any spontaneity or passion. Live a little man, I've seen videos from the olden days of plenty of pitch invasions and even demolishing the goalposts.
People had so much pent up emotions and when that whistle went their legs took over and ran the rest of their bodies onto the pitch before they knew what was happening, that's what I'd tell the judge anyway.
Oh, no you're not.I’m speechless.
When you watch the replay, you might think you see Leo Hjelde come on in the 119th minute to take a penalty.I need to catch a replay of this in the morning![]()
all sky was doing was pumping up the stats about Coventry and how good they were.Genuinely do not believe it, we never score late goals like that much less direct from a corner!!
And breath...
So some Coventry fans will say they were robbed. Well in 1977 who robbed us?
Sunderland never forgets.

His stats show he's a top 5 RW in most areas, bar goals scored but that's not his job. He's got a different role to Mundle too. His style doesn't suit the way Regis has them playing of late, but in an attacking game he is number 1 or 2 on the team sheet for me. Regis just wants him to keep possession and hold the ball in this system, he's the best winger we have for that. He’s been running down alleyways since amad left tbh mate. We don’t have that problem at LW with Mundle. We certainly need a new RW in the summer to offer competition as a minimum
Sorry, I'm pissed and tired, I didn't recognise the satireThats bollox mate, the pitch is for the players, you must not have seen the incidents that have happened in the recent past with "fans" going onto the pitch?

Threads have been merged - I meant a replay of the lampard interview, but yes, point taken! When you watch the replay, you might think you see Leo Hjelde come on in the 119th minute to take a penalty.
Throw some cold water over your face at this point. Never happened.
Ha. The kind of thing you'd all be clutching your pearls too if was about anyone from Sunderland's history. You must be logged on to see media items
Do they even show highlights any more on sky?
