Hard core tonight.I’m not an early leaver, but I don’t think there’ll be many devastated at missing a historic 1-1 draw against Bristol City
Our best player tonightMayenda was decent![]()
Not the best, especially second half but we managed to get something, again. Last season we lose another game. That's my positive outlook.
Bristol defended the sort of chance Roberts scored really well.how many times did the ball get pulled back from the byline only for the shot to be blocked? I really think we’re not far off but it’s looking less like not getting the rub of the green and more like we’re just not clinical enoughYou must have seen lots of chance that I missed.
He was very good. Along with Neil I thoughtOur best player tonight
Didn’t even need a touch. Just hit it..Rigg trying to be too fancy when that cross was played in with a fancy flick - take one touch then lash it in
No idea just watched the last 15 minutesBut did boro win on xg?

ThisI said to my lads at the start of the season that we will be brilliant one game but could just not be able to get going the next because the youth in the team it’s hard to be consistent, the fact we are where we are shows they have done pretty damn well. Today and over last few weeks things haven’t been clicking. This is also done to players in and out of the team/injuries/suspensions so consistency is even harder.
Must say the ground seems pretty flat atmosphere wise. We are battling it out at top of the league with players including local youngsters of 17/18 yrs old and the crowd isn’t exactly being the 12th man they can be. Back up next week will bring the noise.
Would have been interesting if Isidor had stayed on his feet and run at him. Think he’d have been sent off- very strong but not quick.Their CB had a blinder in fairness
Don Bollard.Looking back at the replays I think Ballard should change his name to Bollard, he's a liability.
Because we took too many touches in the boxBBC stats say 11 blocked shots out of a total of 21.
Utter rubbish. He’s recycling the ball, dropping into the back 4 to cover for centre half’s taking it out of defence, winning it and passing it. He was great first half when all of the other you never mention were wasteful, taking too many touches, seeing our moves break down time and time again only for us (Neil more than anyone) recycle it again. He’s doing the job he is instructed to do very well. When we went behind we moved 20 yards further up the pitch and he was more of an attacking influence. He plays to orders he can’t just do what he wants. As the deep lying player he is meant to be running the show. That’s exactly what he’s meant to do. He’s playing central midfield.
I haven’t singled out Neil for anything other than not doing what he started to do from 75 minutes earlier. He’s the experience in the middle, wearing the armband, and for me it’s not quite enough to just knock it side and back. When he stepped on it, he was much better.
And I reckon most of those were between penalty spot and 6 yard line. Is it an outlier we failed to convert so many or a worrying trend…BBC stats say 11 blocked shots out of a total of 21.
Or 25 to 30 mins as a sub if things aren't working out.Al Sheesh need to start games
