As a SC holder I'm not normally able to partake in the match day thread for home games, but me and the bairn both ill tonight so can't make it .
Is this what its usually like? Some people sitting at home watching on tv criticising those fans at the ground or who haven't turned up?

I usually catch up at half time, great way to spend the time while waiting for the second half.
Good laugh isn't it.

Back to football…. We are struggling to translate possession into pressure. Main reason is young Rigg is struggling to make any impact and Jobe is lethargic tonight.
Without that midfield energy and cohesion we struggle to open them up at the back.
Mind you it was a penalty .

Agreed. Not saying that it wasn’t aimed at the ref but usually the players get applauded on the whistle then the ref gets booed when the players are off. Commentators thought it was aimed at the performance too.

It was the Ref, I was booing too.

It's nearly every match like. I've never known them wait until they're at the tunnel.

Of course they do, you clap the players (if they deserve it) then boo the ref as they're the last to leave the pitch.

Wey why would ya boo the officials the minute the half time whistle goes? It’s always been when they’re going down the tunnel and that’s why the boos were a lot louder when they were.

Eh? Fans always boo when the whistle goes if they've been on the wrong end of a contentious decision.

You’re probably right, because they look after their mates. They don’t want to contradict their marras decisions. Stupid system as long as that’s the case. There’s been a few instances where refs have admitted they haven’t acted the way they should have out of sympathy for the ref.

Well surely you do that as they approach the tunnel, not when the whistle goes.

Have you ever been to a match? All clubs' fans boo the referee straightaway and as they go down the tunnel if they're not happy.
