That's brilliant. Great to hear Patrick Gosling name checked by big Dave Stewart. Its actually very funny that Newcastle is now going for Music City status. They like to think of themselves as the big-I-am of the NE but they are now also-ran followers when it comes to music and they aren't confortable with that. Sunderland's musicians over decades have driven culture and that is now driving the whole renaissance of the city. There is nothing comparable happening in Newcastle. They should concentrate on their well deserved reputation as the hen night and stag do capital of the UK.
