Sunderland music thread

Is it just me or do we seem to be getting more bands on in Sunderland recently?

It certainly seems that way and one of the few positives about social media is it can help to promote live music.

I think I may go and see Salmon D at the Ivy House at 17:30 today they're a class act.

What beers do they have on in there now? Years since I have been in. I did try the week before the Coventry game, but their card reader wasn't working so I had to take my custom elsewhere

There’s definitely more of a live music scene in town , the room upstairs in the peacock is class

I was talking to Martin Stephensons wife
(who got up and sang raining in Paris with Martin which was class) after the Daintees gig last night and she said it was their third gig at the Peacock and they love the place.
😎

Not my type of band but he's been on loads in the area lately
Washy old hall, summer streets ,few nights at peacock

First time I've been to a sitty down gig in the Peacock, though there are a lot standing too. Great set from FJ, very respectful and enthusiastic audience. As it should be.
Yet another f***ing great evening!
