Sunderland music thread

How were flat back 4?
I thought they were really good, definitely one of the best I've seen in live lounge. Played a few that you don't really hear on the pub scene such as jimmy eat world and the spin doctors. Also had the crowd pleasers like dakota and disco 2000.

Just remembered they did a cracking version of when the sun goes down by the Arctic monkeys as well

Sounds good.

Superb gig by Ricky Ross at the Fire Station last night.

A very talented writer pianist and singer with plenty of humour thrown in.

Nice touch Ricky staying back at the end for some craic on with the fans.

Also good to see the Buskers night at the Dun Cow so busy after the Ricky Ross concert.

I was in Dun Cow when lad was setting up. Listened to his good first number but had to leave to go over to Ricky's gig which was excellent.

Then back into Dun Cow for another grapefruit real ale but buskers had finished.

Ac/dc for me then catch FM at Greens
Not seen them for years know their ex lead singer died few months ago Steve Ireland, top man always had time for us

Went to see Live/Wire at Fire Station last night (AC/DC cover band) and they were surprisingly very good. Great value for £22.
The front man (if he kept his cap on) looked and sounded very much like BJ. The only thing for me was that the guitar of the guy playing Angus seemed to be a bit muted, dunno why. He was very good tho' too.
First time I've been to the venue and was impressed. Hope the FS get a few more bands that I like so I can give my support .
And for the record, I still think this is the greatest rock track ever with Bon in his pomp. Gutted when he passed, and in those awful circumstances .
