Fire Station really seems to be getting things right, the Maccabees lad, China Crisis and Gary Delaney all pretty much sold out in the next fortnight.

Not the best time for the Engine Room to be shut! Dun Cow was heaving last night until the Empire crowd moved off.

Was worried the Ian McNabb gig at the Peacock might be cancelled as his mam just died, but he's planning to start gigging again at the start of April.

Put a smile on my face, the support act. This Is The Kit was as good as ever, though I do miss the brass they had first time I saw them. Didn't bring them out for every song, but really added to things. Good to see a band looking like they're enjoying themselves playing too.

First time in the Fire Station, thought the sound was excellent.

Live music on in Chaplins and the Life of Riley during the day and evening this Thursday ( St Patrick's Day )

The Emerald Thieves are live on that evening at the Stack.
