Considering losing is what we are best at, why don't we start enjoying it? Cheer when we concede and get right behind the lads to lose. A change of mentality and at least people would enjoy the match again.

20000 fans barely, most on free tickets and benefit handouts from London (Scruffy Northerners- LONG LIVE THATCHER)

Imagine thinking that's great

Birmingam sold out their 1600 allocation at Brentford tonight and they're shite as well. What I'm saying is that we're no better or worse than a lot of teams fans.

It’s an uneven comparison given the travel complications. Brum to London trains every 30 mins, late trains, takes not much more than an hour, direct. Loads of cheap train tickets etc

Just that it's insular up here. Proportionally there are smaller teams like Derby and Norwich who have fantastic and dedicated away support whatever the circumstances.
Next season will be interesting as many season ticket holders are not renewing and the support will dwindle both home and away. Some I know are just not going back if we go down again as they've either had enough or do different things on a weekend now after years of following the team.

The home crowd will drop next season but I think we're more or less down to the bare bones as far as the away support is concerned and I don't see it dropping much more. Midweek away followings between 700-1200 and Saturdays 1500-2000. I remember last time I was at Bolton. Bruce was the manager and we had 4500 there. Only a quarter of those turned out last night. It's sad to see but it's also understandable. I'm dreading Saturday if we start off the same way as against Brentford and to a slightly lesser extent Ipswich because the Smoggies will go in for the kill.

Boro aren't that good m8 - I know I live and work with their fans down here. We could win if we go after them.

Forget the football 100%.Everton away or Rochdale away as an away day experience.

Feck off you mag berk.

Speak truth = Mag? Strange logic you got there T_Berk. Both Sheffield clubs have had it worse than us this past 10 years. Both have been down to League One. Neither have reached a major cup final in that time either As I said only a moron would argue against that, as you have proven.
