You're definitely worse than a lot of posters on here.

A LOT.

That's not something that particularly bothers me if truth be told. I can't really be arsed, nor am I in the mood, to get involved in petty squabbles or insult others who are as pissed off as I am either.

The way we're going folk will be talking about us like that. 'Sunderland, aye I remember when they were in the Premier League, mind that was long before you were born grandson'

Hopefully not but unless there's some dramatic changes from top to bottom I can't see us gracing the top league for years to come.

And 4 trains back to Brum between 2230 -2330

I'll take your word for that. Tbh when I did away games regularly I rarely bothered with the train as I found it too expensive. Our 1150 following for a 280 mile round trip to Bolton was impressive as was their 1600 for a 240 mile round trip to London. Credit where it's due.

To be fair the away support of any club is where the true supporters are. That’s even the case with traditionally plastic supporter clubs like Man United. It’s the home support that is worrying. Empty seats everywhere and that’s with 9000 tickets given away.

I’m a supporter of 30+ years and this is shit as it ever has been. The support down there tonight was nothing short of incredible. All throughout the game you could hear our fans and the players responded to it. There’s only three times this season I’ve genuinely thought we were the better team and two of them were against Bolton.

Two knife edge relegations in the 90s
The national embarrassment of the 19 point season and 15 point season
Bruce's 3 long winless runs
The chaos of Paolo
Limping under Sbragia
Losing Quinn
Dreadful start year after year
No home wins in a year
David f***ing Moyes
Jack f***ing Rodwell

Our support has taken shit of biblical proportions
It's hard to forget that moron Johnson. Molesting a young kid was certainly bad enough and the seriousness of that should always be first and foremost the most important consideration but there must have been consequences for the club in a world where commercial sponsorship has a big part to play.
When people ask why we can't attract decent players I am sure that players who might be considering a move to SAFC may find that the value of their personal sponsorship deals will be reduced if they move to SAFC because of its tarnished image . I have said before I have never seen SAFC's public image at such a low largely due to matters that have occurred off field than I have over the past few years.

Let's not forget too that when Di Canio was appointed the club's main commercial sponsor walked out over night. God knows what that cost the club at the time but we are no doubt still feeling the financial effect of it today,

It’s an OK turnout, but considering they will have plenty of ex-pa
I don’t quite understand your posts or your point ?

Are you trying to say our fans are better than theirs ??

No, just saying we would have taken more to a journey similar like Sheff Wed midweek, as we did, and they have the advantage of being able to get relatively quick and frequent trains home too, as well as it being half term.

Thats without the ex-pats from Brum
Who are London based to boost the numbers for a London game too

But they sold all of their tickets - as we would have done. So how could we have taken ‘more’ ?

We don't give 9000 tickets away

It's going to be -22 degrees next week according to the Daily Star
