If I took mine to Hamleys all I’d end up with is either two crying six year olds or a maxed out credit card.

They’re just as happy in the local Entertainer.

The Zoo. Though on my first visit to London as a 4yr old I preferred the squirrels just outside in Regents Park apparently.

Big wheel thingy and the aquarium are next to eachother. Passes 2-3 hours and lets you sit down a bit

If it isn’t raining then walk across Regent’s Park to the zoo. Play on the swings, a coffee and a bun and stuff to do. Walk along canal to Camden after.

There's a nice Snooker club in Bethnal green, that allows kids in, as long as they sit still and keep quiet, there's also loads of pubs that let the kids sit on the step outside, with a bottle of pop and some crisps, while you have a session.
