Stuff to do in London with 2 and 4yo

Staying an extra day next week due to train strikes so I find myself in London with an extra day to kill. Rarely visit so any advice would be great.

Years since been but Natural History museum, its free, indoors and few hours to get round. Or go on the beer.

Mine enjoyed the Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green on one of our Wembley trips.

Natural history for the dinosaurs. Science Museum is good for little uns. They have a whole area for them to play IIRC
London Transport Museum in Covent Garden if they like buses etc
Covent Garden for the street theatre.
London Eye
Zoo.

Loads to do and don't even need to spend a penny if you don't want to

In addition to all the museums etc mentioned you could do the cable cars near the o2, sea life centre, sky garden or new Horizon22, even just riding around the tubes/on the DLR

If you don’t mind a Tube ride, The Discover Centre in Stratford is brilliant for kids that age Discover Children’s Story Centre
