I was just about to say this. Prior to us he was head of scouting at Blackburn, before that he was at Burnley as youth scout.

It may well be that we need someone with expertise is the European market, rather than the British market.

Most of his signings from British clubs have worked well for the level at the time, but a lot of the foreign ones didn’t quite work out.

Yep. Unless it all falls apart I don’t see any real issue. Just like we’ve moved players on due to operating a different level we will do it with staff

Surely that's where Florent Ghisolfi comes in? I thought Harvey was more involved in selecting players using data rather than old school scouting them?

I would be more worried if he was poached tbh, if this is just the club deciding he isnt needed any more I'd be more comfortable regarding our situation.

Regardless, the bloke has done a great job here so hope he is not out of work for long.

If they've had discussions and decided its best to move on. That sort of says to me that his role was getting marginalised and he was having less and less input.
