I reckon a benching could do Gelhardt good, coming on against tired legs to give him a bit of confidence if he manages to get a goal. He's been thrown into the deep end and is struggling.

What a message that would send the young lad, bench him and play nobody up front.

I've seen nothing to justify why everybody and his dog apparently wanted to sign him up. Always open to being proved wrong but so far I'm in agreement.

I think he looks alright, it's early and maybe it will fall for him, though it shows just how much many underrated Simms.

What I worry about is his lack of goal record, as whilst it might just click for him, he's looking far from clinical so far and his record doesn't suggest he's much of a goalscorer.

Diallo got benched last game and has looked the best he has for a while against QPR. He has to earn his spot like everyone else.

Also, is he really the best option against a physical team like Rotherham?
