Stingray impregnated by a Shark

They can store sperm for years. We once went to The London Aquarium and they were doing this talk thing. The young lass was saying both of the females they had were pregnant and they had no males in the tank.
Lots of fish can. Especially livebearers. Still squirting bairns out over a year after last contact with males……it’s a feckin nightmare.

Can produce by parthenogenesis too, literal virgin births. Quite a few animals can including Komodo dragons and turkey’s.
This has to be the answer. Interspecies nookie doesn't work.
Rays are basically sharks though, not impossible but pretty unlikely. A few species do interbreed.

I've read loads of stories like this, watched countless wildlife documentaries, listened to a ton of podcasts from David Attenborough and the likes, even studied biology at a higher level and I've come to one conclusion

Nature is f***ing mental
