Only when asked.He never once said he got sacked for being a Geordie just that when it turned sour it didn't help and given the "fat Geordie bastard" chants and numerous post about him being a mag on here id say he had a point.
 

Steve Bruce cane here wanting to do the best for the club whether some people like it or not. Hes a north east man and during his time in charge of us, always came across as a decent fella. He was treated awfully by a section of our "support".Good luck Steve.

He had no point at all. It's cos he deconstructed a good side and replaced them with shite and had us bang in trouble.

I'm sure he looks out for my posts.
He makes frequent negative comments about our club and the fans when there is no reason to at all. That's why people dislike him.

I'm not disputing it was time for him to go but can't deny he got more grief than any manager I've known and he far from the worst and a lot of that had to do with him being a Geordie.

The grief he got was unwarranted for the most part and was down to where he came from. He had completely lost the crowd by the end which affected the players performance and really had to go when he did.

Well put.Amazes me how so many people refuse to accept this and are for whatever reason constantly trying to prove how disinterested they are in Newcastle yet disprove this time and time again.

Your first bit is right. Your last bit is revisionist nonsense. Pardew is getting worse than Bruce got, and that was in one game. He didnt even get shit after the 5-1 for god's sake. The man had huge support until the 3rd winless run and excuse after excuse, demeaning 'only sunderland' and doing everything to deflect blame from himself.
 
The support Bruce got here considering how many bad runs we went on was brilliant. A few chants in the last game v Wigan were more than deserved. The way he acted since he was sacked has been nothing short of pathetic. Constant digs, Lies about being abused for months, using the media to make our fans look bad. I didn't mind him but cannot stand the man now.

This. And yes, the press keeps asking him about Sunderland, but it would be nice if he'd just say something along the lines of "I've commented on that enough" or "That's the past, I'm not going to comment on that anymore" but he doesn't. He's a f***ing wanker; I hope they get beat today and go down next season.
