No one can doubt our fans will give anybody a chance regardless of where there from but can't dispute minute it goes wrong the whole Newcastle thing will rear its head.
As for Bruce going on about finishing tenth,sacked for being a Geordie etc (he never said that either just that it didn't help) all he is doing is answering questions put to him unlike that complete buffoon di canio who arranged an interview to vent his spleen and played an almighty shithouse trick on oshea during it! Again not nearly as much vitriol aimed at him despite it being much much worse.Then again he isn't a mag though! :)

I kna, but it was the impression I got, and the tv pundits seemed to be going along with it too. This game has all been about Hull getting there. It's like they're all expecting a Hull win.

24 points from 28 games and we were looking worse by the week, we were in total freefall and if he hadn't been sacked we would have gone down that season.

I think it's 50/50 this one - they won't have Jelavic or Long, Bruce never had any sort of home Cup run when he was here. On the other hand, we're away from home against a team above us, God knows what kind of team we will select, and I don't think anybody really knows whether last weekend will give our lads the determination to go back, or it will lead to a bit of an Everton-style hangover.
 
I can't decide whether I like his post-match craic or not "We'll accept Alans apology, of course we will" - funny, but annoying too.

I think you are wrong here mind marra, he annoys many because of his constant bleating about it, granted our fans respond to it but we both need to move on, SB did a good job at our place initially but it went to shit for many reasons and none of them because he was a mag.

All I said on scocco was I wouldn't pay 4m for a bloke who has taken over 6 weeks to be ready. Hardly controversial stuff was it?
As I have said other managers done worse or as bad a job as brucey yet never got the grief he got and the common denominator is his roots.
As for the final we played really well and coukdnt have done anymore however I'm hardly guna have a spunkfest over losing 3-1!
Great day when beat mags 3-0 too however it hardly the be all and end all to my season I'm afraid.
Stay up and get to fa cup final il personally suck Gus off but we are far cry from that at present and when we start yet another embarrassing Steve Bruce post when his current side are looking rosy having already beaten us twice this season I just find it very short sighted personally.
Trust me if I was him id be tucking in royally to our fans if in his position but he's hardly said a word this season about sunderland yet we hav threads upon threads about him.
Just remind who is obsessed here?

It had absolutely fuck all to do with his roots man. Bruce played the Geordie card far more than the fans.
