Its well worth bothering with I really enjoyed it.... but the last 3 eps went to shit. When it comes back (if it does) it better get good again.

To mix things up... the Orville, I like it, some terrible episdoes but the two episodes where earth was attacked had some of the best scenes in any of this type of scifi

Its outstanding imo better than most official star trek stuff - aye those eps were fantastic and iirc 2 others were aswell, they were back to back too.

It's a grower, first season ended well despite a lackluster start, second series was much better. Really looking forward to season 3.

You’ve got to look at it as if the original series wasn’t on the TV over 50 yrs ago.
If they used the same technology as they showed back then it would look ridiculous.
A lot of the ‘future‘ stuff then we already have now!
If you get to the second series you will get to see the ’original’Enterprise. They blend what the Enterprise looks like in the original series with the updated tech really well.

Yeah but they don't integrate space critters into the warp cores, even in the later ones.

Also compared to the Kirk reboots (with Chris Pine) the tech still looks far better.

If you're a trek fan, then yes.
Otherwise, 50/50
