Spirit of 37 - display v Newcastle

The club can’t be associated with an anti sportswashing message??? Why the fuck not

sports washing as a subject seems to have been quietly swept under the carpet. as someone just mentioned above ever since they got took over it's like a forbidden subject your not allowed to talk about anymore. in a professional capacity that is. something going on behind the scenes we're not privy to

not saying I agree with it being blocked but i can totally understand why the club won't allow it. especially after KLD put 10k in. i imagine it would open the club up to lots of questions and shit they'd rather not deal with

We need to work it out and they won’t go to waste.

A couple of the lads still have a bit of enthusiasm left but for 3 of us this has been the final straw.

Hopefully someone else will pick it up like we did from Haway the flags and I’ll donate every time, but it’s affected my personal life this week and thats when I knew enough was enough.
I was looking forward to a display as much as anyone but this is so sad. Your mental health and feelings have to come first. Look after yourself mate.

Aye but the club surely have final say on where said 6k are seated. Think it’s the location that’s the problem not the allocation

Aye they do (I imagine). That's my issue with it anorl. An absolute pisstake that they've put them where they have after everything they've previously stated regarding moving away fans.

Unless people start targeting their anger toward that though, I feel like the club just have an easy response of "well it's out of our hands", because it is.

The club, and more specifically Steve Neil should be held accountable for lying to fans.

Why the donation then? Did he not know what was going to go on the banners?!
I agree with the theory he donated precisely because of this and would have say in what went on it.

Anyone who says ‘well we’d welcome a Saudi owner if they bought us and spent loads of money’ - well they haven’t and are very unlikely to. So of course we should enjoy the moral high ground.

The club have absolutely had their pants pulled down on the ticketing and should in response give go ahead on this display, but we know they won’t connect those dots.

@Guinness Guzzler could RAWA not organise a £10k crowdfunder to pay back the owner?

SO37 seem to have no appetite (understandably) to bang their heads against this brick wall and nobles dy is going to donate to some random who starts a collection but RAWA at least have some credibility.
RAWA are useless now. Might as well fold. They’ve become the tea and biscuit brigade along with the supporters association.

I’m of the opinion we should raise it and then ask for a comment from KLD as to whether he’d like it back or whether we can stick it in Amnesty Internationals coffers, a very clear fuck you to our child boss.
