Speakman gone

The club is evolving and people who made good decisions when in the Championship will be replaced by people who make good decisions in the Premier. We as fans need to get used to this at all levels at the club and not, as others are, looking for conspiracies.
As brutal is it sounds the club aren’t scared to make those decisions

You have got to love the ruthlessness of this.

Presume somebody has already said, but has he used that paragraph of drivel he normally sticks on the end of nis narratives about people leaving the club?

He’s out of his depth, clearly at the top table, just doesn’t have the contact book. All in all, good job Kristian, you have played an important part in our journey…

Wish him all the best, especially for assembling the side that got us promoted last season. I’m not going to lie and say I’ve always been enamoured with him. I wanted him out after the Beale fiasco and the shambolic end to 2023/24.

Nah from what I’ve heard it was quite the opposite, he was approached with a “Sunderland-esque” project last summer but we have kept him around during the transition period with the new fella and promotion. There’s always the possibility we could have been keeping him due to the fear of needing him if we were to drop as well I bet.

Ultimately though, we have progressed as a club under him and are now onto the next phase of progression with a better man, just like has happened with almost all of the playing staff from the last few years too.

Thank you and good luck in your next venture.
Have you heard anything about de zerbi btw? Just something I got a text about that I thought was load of tosh but now I’m sitting here thinking

I suppose there's every possibility he's been poached for something bigger in the summer, and this is how we've spun it. Effectively on gardening leave 'til the end of the season.
Possible. In some ways I’d be surprised if he had a ‘bigger’ job. However I could see him turning up at an elite club in a slightly different role.

I was possibly his biggest critic..but, he got us back to the premier league and should be applauded. 👏👏...not sure how i feel about the news tbh  Big pressure on Ghisolfi now to continue our progression.
Same here but when you look at the starting 11 when he started to now you cannot question anything he’s done. Hes a magician and until this summer had a net spend of
-£2m

If i ever see him in a pub down here in Perth, i will buy him a pint of the finest Bush Chook that's on offer. We wouldn't be where we are without his leadership, and for that I will be forever grateful.

My bet is he will be snapped up by Birmingham or Wrexham. A new project for him.
I’d wait to see who’s going in at Sheff Wed anarl myself. They’re the biggest club currently outside the PL and ripe for “the model”.*

*Other struggling championship clubs are available.

Judging by some of the shite I've seen and debated on here over the years, some will be dancing in the streets at this news. He's done a very good job for us overall.
