it’s a study on dim stars , bit like yourselfWhat’s it called?
No mention of stars likeit’s a study on dim stars , bit like yourself
Programmes about space fascinate me..This Brian Cox programme deserved a thread of its own. BBC at its best.
I enjoyed what I saw of it. Different to the bog-standard prog on the subject with new info - to me anyway. This Brian Cox programme deserved a thread of its own. BBC at its best.
Watched second episode. Superb series with Bri Cox. The size of the solar system alone is mind blowing. Love that comets from way beyond what we used to think was the edge of the solar system have paid us a visit. Haway the Oort Cloud![]()
Loads of fascinating stuff. Mars going to get its own ring system, knowing Neptune was once much closer to the sun before it marauded out, Triton circling the other way round etc.Loved that episode. The size of our system is mind boggling enough before you even go into interstellar space

We may well be part of itYeah never knew a lot of that. Pity it'll be millions of years until the Mars ring.. would have been good to see in the sky.
We may well be part of it
On the flip side, at least we won't be about when the Sun destroys us (although some doubt humans will last that long anyway).
Humans will then be off to destroy another planet. We'll deffo destroy ourselves well before then and if we didnt we'd have the technology to leave the solar system.
