Southampton spying compendium thread

“Had I known it was going to come back and bite me on the arse, I wouldn’t have done it”.
How stupid are the powers that be at Soton where they appoint a club captain who didn’t realise the severity of the situation? How stupid is he to not realise the severity of the situation? How stupid are their binoc wielding and tree camo wearing fans not to realise the severity of the situation? How stupid are the dozens of SMBrs who didn’t realise the severity of the situation?

Talk about stupid if you look at there forum nearly half of them think they shouldn't sack the manager because he was doing a great job. It's the EFL who over reacted and they shouldn't have been disqualified

Get the lot of them banned from football or relegated to non league (both ideally)
I was wondering what the current situation was. I am on holiday and was speaking to a Sheff Utd fan who said he had heard the play offs were to be replayed without the Sinners.
I said I doubted that was possible but Southampton could be punished further.
They should be demoted to league one as they obviously spied more than 3 times.

What is harder to accept is that similar scrutiny does not appear to have been applied to the composition of the disciplinary panel itself, given the apparent historic and indirect connections of two panel members to Middlesbrough. While those connections do not by themselves prove bias, they plainly raise legitimate questions about consistency, perception and the standards of independence expected in proceedings of this magnitude.

The club is also concerned by the weight placed on assertions that junior staff were pressurised into involvement, when some of the most serious allegations appear not to have been supported by direct evidence. That said, junior employees should never have been placed in a position where they felt under pressure, and the club accepts responsibility for that failure of leadership and oversight.”

Fuck right off

Blaming the panel and the poor kid forced to go and spy on Middlesbrough. Utter scum.
