Southampton spying compendium thread

How does a club "analyst" gain the skills and technology to lurk undetected at allegedly multiple training grounds and do all that?

This seems massive. movie potential

Puts a massive ? on the game. Fascinating but almost void as a contest

Watch there’ll be a dodgy decision by the ref & the smoggys go through to the final on the strength of it everyone’s a winner but Southampton

If I was Boro I'd have my Wembley tickets booked.
The more I’ve thought about it they simply have to be kicked out of the play offs. These are the richest games in club football in the world and Southampton has gained irreversible advantage.

Anything less than expulsion shows every club it’s worth doing and taking the punishment for.
It's going to happen if they win. They'll be hoping they lose and they can just fine them.

They haven’t even played the game yet so it’s not irreversible.

I don’t know why they even had to spy on Boro in the first place. Everyone knows how Boro play - fanny about trying to walk the ball into the net.

^THIS

Boro will go up by two goals in the first leg with two headers.

Entire training session working on headed goals.

Not irreversible but if they had set up a certain tactics, whether that's formation related or set piece routines, these are now less likely to be effective as Southampton have the script on how to counter such tactics.

The EFL statement mentioned not waiting tbe standard 14 days for the punishment to be announced.

Clearly want it sorted before the PO final…..suggesting Saints are going get booted out

So Boro either play exactly how Southampton expect them to or they select a team/tactics the manager doesn’t think is his best. Either way Boro is at a disadvantage.
