Neither does Morgan Whittaker.Guilty people don’t run
Boro have been in training planning to play Hull ….Why??
If anything they are at an 'advantage' - now playing a team who have only just found out they are in the final, as apposed to the team who have been preparing for a couple of weeks??
Probably will be irrelevant as the FA are likely to ban him from managing in England for a lengthy periodI wonder if Southampton will sack the coach?

Even the appeal could say OK it's harsh but still give a simple 3-0 awarding of the home game to Boro as that's the training for the game they spied on. It would be the same thing, Southampton being out of the playoffs. Same result but not as harsh a punishment.I'd suspect their appeal will hinge on the proportionality of the sanction. Although Leeds did a similar thing before it became specifically banned, their punishment was financial. There is the argument that Soton have been denied the opportunity to contest a game that would result in income in excess of £200m should they have won.
This isn't done and dusted yet. Even if the game goes ahead, there is scope for legal action and could drag on for months/years.
They should be suing the club for that not the EFL.Own players might sue them...

Aye fair point, or the EFL dug even deeper and found out they've been doing it a lot longer.Considering the punishment is more lenient with a guilty plea, what could it have been without the admission? Expulsion and a 20-point deduction?
No views of my hairy arse then. The Ayling bit.
I posted earlier about their manager , and he even acted the same when the ref was advising him what was alleged.
Seems like a prick to me like, and if he ain't behind this I'll show my hairy arse in any window ya want .
Seems like a lot of trouble to spy for 5 minutesWhat I haven’t seen mentioned is how long the lad was watching. If he was there 5 minutes then he won’t have seen anything that could affect anything.
If he watched over an extended period of time then a lot of information could have been gathered.
