Southampton spying compendium thread

It's potentially the biggest punishment in the history of the game - no guarantee that they would have won of course but it seems incredibly harsh to me, and further proof that there are a different set of rules for bigger clubs

Especially when you consider the charges against Man City or the things that Chelsea have been found out on

And let's not mention a big Scottish club who will probably get 3 hail marys as punishment for a pitch invasion resulting in their fans attacking opposing players
Totally different charges and governing bodies so obviously a different set of rules.

I'm still thinking the punishment is a bit harsh, they didn't even win any of the games they apparently spied for anarl .
Removed from the playoff final and docked 4 points, that's serious shit. All the while we're still waiting for anything to be done to Man City after bloody years of dodgy dealings.

EFL and Premier League are totally different entities so can't be compared. They might not have won the first game, but they didn't lose, which gave them a massive advantage.

The punishment fits the crime.

Yeah but they didn't concede any goals at the gasworks which may have been the point!

No way did they only spy in those games, that’s the 3 they were found to be spying on I’d say is closer to the truth.

Man City is not comparable different governing body, different rules.

Admitting to spy on teams it makes no difference to and not admitting any others ffs. Tonda the thick bastard.

How old did he think the panel were going to be? Bunch of 6 year olds?
