Correct decision, the EFL were not going to cancel the Play Off final and give Hull the promotion which would of been right, still Boro been given a lifeline but WTF were Southampton thinking doing this when they were on form...crazy
 
Would give them even more of a points deduction on the appeal. They’ve wasted enough time already. They must have had an idea what punishment would have come there way but happily sold tickets to their fans with many buying non refundable hotels and travel, the delay has given Middlesbrough a few days notice and Hull have been prepping for a different team for the past week.
 
It's potentially the biggest punishment in the history of the game - no guarantee that they would have won of course but it seems incredibly harsh to me, and further proof that there are a different set of rules for bigger clubs

Especially when you consider the charges against Man City or the things that Chelsea have been found out on

And let's not mention a big Scottish club who will probably get 3 hail marys as punishment for a pitch invasion resulting in their fans attacking opposing players
