Southampton spying compendium thread

If spying is considered illegal, then I suppose a suitable punishment is stipulated in the rules. They just have to apply it, whatever it may be.

Just found Hull's and it's a bit more informative than Southampton but again leads to the dead link.

It's the correct link as it's been live in the past so the EFL is obviously changing them given the situation but haven't updated the page yet to make it live.

Discussed yes , but nowhere near the meltdown some so called Sunderland fans are having on here..this Southampton guy who was apparently spying on them, what info was he supposed to have got ? as from what I seen in both games it can’t of been much as Southampton were poor and boro not much better 🤷🏻‍♂️ just seems like a poor excuse now both games have been played and they’re out at this moment in time ,nowt would of been said if they’d went through as I already mentioned imo
The quality of either team and/or the quality of the game is irrelevant.

What a shite take on it.

The T&C's are working for me now so maybe just a blip for me. Checking them to the previous version there's nowt different anyway for the bits that Hull mention about 6.2 and 6.4ii but certainly trying to make sure supporters see what could happen so supporters can't blame fans if shit does happen. Regardless it's a shit thing for all fans concerned.

6.2 In the event of the postponement of a Match before you have entered the Ground and before kick-off, the Ticket will be valid for the rearranged playing of the Match.

6.4 In the event that the EFL holds the Match ‘behind closed doors’ or the postponed or abandoned Match is: (i) not re-arranged; or (ii) the Ticket holder is unable to attend the rearranged Match, the Ticket holder will be entitled to a refund of the face value of the Ticket (including any booking fee or related transaction charge and any postage costs). The procedure for obtaining such a refund shall be announced by the EFL and/or the applicable Club(s).

What happens if you buy a ticket and then your team are no longer in the final

Why would you break the rules, risk being punished, if it was of no advantage.
Southampton clearly thought it was very worthwhile. But wait, some bloke on the internet thinks it makes no difference
Plenty of cheating happens in matches. Sly tugs, pretend fouls for penalties, players feining injury to delay the match.Clubs altering the pitch width etc.Players sent off ,yet remain on the pitch,no action taken in cup tie against SAFC when Peter Reid was manager .Oldham ?
