I hope they do.Honestly feel Boro will batter them now
I wonder if there's any connection between Tonda Eckert's rapid ascent from back room no mark to being comfortably the best coach in the league, and his team being total dog shit to completely unplayable, and the cheating.Be interesting to know who at Southampton ordered the "spying", who receives the "intelligence" and how the details are used. Loads of management and staff could be in on it, it which case it could escalate into a massive scandal and attempts at a cover up. Shame on The Saints![]()

Anyone but the mutantsWhatever the result of today’s game, Southampton won’t be getting promoted.
You clearly don’t get it.Surely Southampton, especially after the fantastic run they have had, don't have to resort to spying. I cannot see how their actions can improve their chances of defeating a fellow Championship side. It is a storm in a tea cup when compared with the blatant cheating within the game, both on and off the field: Manchester City's financial doping, players diving for penalties and, on a different tack, the constant switching of kick-off times at short notice that inconvenience supporters.
Won't matter. Southampton won't be getting into the play off finalLND hat trick incoming then
Er….because their fantastic run could well have been down to cheating?Surely Southampton, especially after the fantastic run they have had, don't have to resort to spying. There are a lot of things in the game at the moment I don't get. If the EFL are going to punish Southampton, and I understand they will in some shape or form, then the football authorities should apply zero tolerance to all other facets of the games. The game is corrupt. You clearly don’t get it.
Mate that's spot on, this level of information is manna from heaven to the football freak coaches. You clearly don’t get it.
Opposition find out starting 11, tactics, set piece approach, potential subs…list goes on. It is a huge advantage and makes you question their run of making the playoffs. Tonda gets 3 manager of the month awards in a row. How often has that happened? It stinks and needs a harsh punishment.
How isn’t knowing your opponents starting line up and tactics not blatant cheatingSurely Southampton, especially after the fantastic run they have had, don't have to resort to spying. YepEFL will be fucked if Southampton win the play offs and that is all they do. Boro will rightly be into them for £200M compen. Much more sensible to kick the saints out of the play offs, based entirely on the regs.
