Yeah looked horrific. We drove around it on the diversion and no air ambulance there when we came by but I reckon 30/40 sets of lights going.
Hopefully no serious long term injuries

I wouldn’t have thought so. It says at the start of the video “turns you the public into reporters” so assuming it’s just general public.

I doubt proper authorities would put a video of something like that out, that quickly either.

Aye. As others have said I’ve never seen so many blue lights, and vehicles heading to an accident before.

From what I’ve seen online I think they are all ok. It sounds like they’ve been split up to 4 different hospitals. With the worst 2 injured both airlifted to Leeds.

Hopefully it’s true and the injuries are just minor.

If they are they’ve been very lucky

To be fair with the nature of the crash and the vehicle involved they probably scrambled helicopters quickly regardless

read the Shields facebook page and looks as if most people ok but unsure about two airlifted suhpporters
