cracking test series imo, had it all. fair series result and the one i wanted as well.
still, neither side could live with england on present form.
leave all the rounders rubbish to the americans. test cricket is the be all and end all!

I disagree it wasnt a cracking test series.A two test series is stretching it a bit to be called a series espeically when one side was so obviously undercooked.
Its a shame the average test cricket fan is been deprived. A three test series against the saffers next summer against England is a disgrace

irrelevant. Boards make the most money by selling rights to overseas broadcasters which is why smaller football nations lick their lips when they draw England in qualifiers
It was disappointing there weren't more matches. That was a great match to watch, in the balance from start to finish, plenty there for the batsmen, something in the pitch for the bowlers and all 3 results possible for most of the game. A perfect test match.
It's just a shame we don't now have a series decider to look forward to, should have been at least 3 tests in this series.
At least we've got Australia v New Zealand coming up, should be a fun contest between 2 evenly matched teams
Watched highlights without knowing the score. There have been some tremendous tests over the last few years. Anyone else reckon it's actually getting better as a game?
