South Africa’s Commitment to Equality

‘alert to injustice in society, especially racism.’

Very apt, in this instance. Are you woke? Or the opposite? I know which I’d rather be.
I'd like to think I'm both alert and sympathetic to any injustice. I don't believe, however, that "positive discrimination" nor the prolonged "taking the knee" gesture will alleviate injustice. Indeed there's a real danger that it will be counter productive.

Maybe no-one wants to debate with a fuckwit who equates positive discrimination with communism.

You do realise the Mandelas were Communists right? Which is why South Africa has continued to be so divisive and be the king of 'positive discrimination', Zimbabwe under Mugabe was very similar but more genocidal. Marxism is all about viewing the world through the lens of identity politics and saying one group oppresses the other, back in the 19th century it was all about the working classes being exploited by factory owners (Marx did this indirectly himself - he was propped up by Engels who was a factory owner, Marx was a loser and miserable hypocrite like most Marxists). Cultural Marxism is an 'evolved' form of this principle, so it applies not just to the classes but to race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation and so on. So they claim whole swathes of society are oppressed due to being in one of those groups by looking at the 'outcome'. Because Communists believe in equality of outcome they will go to extreme lengths to achieve this 'equality' such that everyone ends up similarly impoverished and starving, queuing up hours for a loaf of bread etc.

Positive discrimination is one of the more moderate Communist methods for achieving equality of outcome. You see it in some of the Commie universities in America where Orientals have to get a higher grade score than whites to get in, who in turn have to get a higher score than blacks. In South Africa they use quotas. Both are tyrannical and patronising, bigotry of low expectations basically. Very divisive and ultimately ineffectual. You degrade a meritocracy to tick some boxes, ending up with less able people. Which is partly why Communist countries are basket cases. Along with the state providing 'everything' to achieve equality so there's no motivation to work (you're all equal remember), which leads to epic levels of calamity very quickly.

Anyway I'm much, much smarter than you. Welcome to ignore.

Brighter than me but you think U.S. universities are Commie. Okay, we’ll just leave that one out there.

btw - is this MBH sneaking back? Looks suspiciously like the kind of shite he would post although I think he has a bit more nouse than this fishy twat.

Indeed. If you deviate from a meritocracy then you don't end up with the best. And you can't eradicate racism with more racism.

Late to reply to this one, but I can’t see any valid reason for counter-productivity on this issue. To me, the only people who would see this as a negative would be those who WANT to. I think you know what I’m getting at when I speak of such people too.
