Sounds like the Saudis are close to buying Inter?

Inter are ESL shoe ins. They’ll all need feeder clubs back in the various national leagues and no owners will be having a feeder club in the same country as their main one. Makes sense as a “big six“ less PL will have the mags as regulars. I even think a well ran safc would be PL regulars which would be nice.

They might just take all the PL cash the mags generate and spend it on inter. Leave the vermin with just enough money to keep them limping along with the rest of the has beens, never will bes, and other assorted cannon fodder the top four clubs use to sharpen their teeth on.
It takes all the PL money to keep a club in the PL. There isn't any spare to give away, look at any club's finances.

Mags are always singing about being in Milan.

They should be delighted.

The one and only time many of them seem to have left the country for that european game they had at the San Siro. They've sang about it ever since bless em. Obviously not very well travelled.

Serie A's a dead end these days.

It's not just about the domestic league though, or Qatar wouldn't have bought a team in the farmers' league. It's a massive club with a European profile who won the CL only a decade or so ago, with a base in one of Europe's most glamorous cities. They're not going to be a feeder club for a bog-standard PL team in a regional backwater.

Rumour has it Inter is to compensate as the Mags look like going down. They can push for Champions League the following season, but will still fund Newcastle's promotion attempt. The money is there to just simply move elsewhere I guess. Ridiculous wealth and totally corrupt. Shame on Inter if this happens, but I guess they have a history of European football compared to the Mags as well as being a bigger club etc. Its PIF taking its bat n ball home.

That's the key point. They have enough oil money to easily fund a couple of football clubs.

If the stinkers get relegated, I can see the camel jockeys spending enough to get them get back up, then getting shot of them when they are back in the PL.

Meanwhile Inter will more than likely have been playing in the CL.

Can see this being a clever move. Nufc will struggle to sign players so buy Inter & loan them over. Inter are in the shit financially so that would unload em off the books.
Can see St Maximan going other way mind..
