Son of my Father

Unfortunately I can’t confirm that. Someone will know better than me.

Wasn't there either unfortunately

Ive heard it was sung (not throughout) on very good authority

But looking for clarification from lads who were there

Im thinking of starting a chant off in east stand with same wemberley words to blank out any drums that are introduced

Great single by the Tip :) definitely sung re Rodney Marsh v City , but I can’t recall different words being used at Wembley, sorry .

This sounds right.

The City fans used to sing “Oh Rodney, Rodney! Rodney, Rodney, Rodney, Rodney, Rodney Marsh!”.

We changed it to “Oh Rodney, Rodney! Rodney, Rodney, Rodney, Rodney Shithouse Marsh!”.

I remember watching the ITV highlights when I got home after the replay and Gerald Sinstadt, who had been brought up from Manchester to commentate didn’t pick the change up and said that the Sunderland fans were recognising his talent...
