Son of my Father

This sounds right.

The City fans used to sing “Oh Rodney, Rodney! Rodney, Rodney, Rodney, Rodney, Rodney Marsh!”.

We changed it to “Oh Rodney, Rodney! Rodney, Rodney, Rodney, Rodney Shithouse Marsh!”

THAT definitely rings a bell (not that Pompey mess!)
Was it not sung about Ian Porterfield at Wembley. I have no memories of it, but it scans and makes sense.

The first hit for producer Georgia Moroder. The king of Disco. Donna Summer etc. Sung to Frankie Worthington 8 years later

Yep. It came as a surprise to me when I found out that it had previously been released by Giorgio Moroder , and even more of a surprise to find that Chicory Tip’s version was way better !!

Oh well. Cheers for answers lads general consensus seems it wasnt chanted. Lad I was speaking to was adamant it was and I had no real reason to doubt him. Still it was 46 years ago and I cant even f***ing remember what was sung at match on friday.
