They have to navigate their way through Northern Powergrid yet, so I wish them the best of luck with that.

The idea is absolutely the right one though.
 
I don't like these bird-chopping, bat munching giant crucifixes of concrete, steel and rare earth metals that don't produce reliable or predictable energy, but each to their own.

They’ll probably pass something as complex as this without a thought. Getting power to a house after a damaged cable that’s some serious planning

Getting grid connections for large scale renewable projects is a huge issue right now, which is hampering the roll out of renewables. But they will be well aware of this if they've engaged the right consultants.
